This is my favorite dim sum place. I grew up with this place before it was Sam kee now it's new port restaurant. Parking here is a private plaza, when it's busy you have to park on the street. You go inside wait for the Hostess to seat you. Pretty quiet inside other than other tables talking. They bring carts around but you can also order from the waiter or by marking the paper. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest but didn't bother me. Service is normal for a dim sum place. What's special about this place is the dim sum is not the generic thick wholesale dim sum you get. The skin for the hakow and Shumai are thin here and not a bunch of extra fillers, unless you like that. Not no mass produced quantities. I'll always get the shumai, Hakow, shrimp ball, and shrimp rice noodle roll. For myself and 1 order Togo. I love using the shrimp rice noodle roll sweat soy sauce for the other dishes too. Overall would go back forever.

Food: Most of the dishes are great, especially those with shrimp! Strongly recommend the shrimp&pork dumpling and deep fried shrimp ball. If you want something refreshing and light, I'd recommend the steamed fish balls. I have been here 3 times and would like to come more to try all the dishes! Service: They're always quite busy and no specific staff is assigned to a table, so you need to try hard to catch their attention if you need anything. Ambiance: traditional Asian decor, good for any size of party and even reserve for a banquet.

We came here as an invite for a graduation party. The food served was quite good with a variety of flavors and textures from jellyfish, octopus, duck, dim sum to name just a few. The service was good and the dining area was spacious and comfortable.

Solid dim sum spot in Cupertino! Portion sizes were generous, good flavor and quality. The ginger scallion beef tripe was literally overflowing - have never gotten one so large. We also enjoyed the pork BBQ buns, shrimp rice noodle roll, egg and pork congee, fish balls, and peanut sesame balls. Everything was delicious. They don't push carts around here - you just order. Service was a tad slow at times, but the food came out pretty fast. Lots of seating + wasn't packed on the Friday noon we went. Was a bit expensive at ~$30/pp total, but we had some leftovers. Would recommend + will be back!

I came on new years with my gf and her family since not much was open. The service was super low but I guess this is because of new year's and staff are probably off work. The ambience is a typical dim sum style decor. There are tables with covers and the lights resemble that classic chinese food place vibe. We ordered the following: Green beans: kinda crunchy, standard green bean fare stuffed tofu: pretty good, slight crunch and meat on top was good, sauce wasn't too salty either fried rice: pretty good, nice flavor and also not heavy on the salt walnut shrimp: pretty standard fried shrimp Steamed eggs: surprisingly good! had preserved egg and salted egg inside of it, never had this before Overall it's decent and I'd come again for sure!

We stopped by New Port for dim sum around 12pm on a Sunday. It was pretty busy so there was a bit of a wait, but it wasn't longer than 20 min or so. My favorite items were the har gao and baked BBQ pork bun. The portions are on the small size but the prices are pretty low so I feel that it balances out. The food also comes out super quickly even when they're busy so that was great! I swear we waited less than 5 min for the har gao. A lot of people ordered the mango pudding so we gave it a try too. My partner really enjoyed it but I found it a bit too sweet for me. But if you have a sweet tooth then this is definitely a fun dish to order, it's shaped like a fish! Keep in mind that the parking lot here is tiny. If you don't mind walking a bit, there's the Ranch 99 plaza across the street that has more parking as well as some residential streets nearby.

We've been a regular here and their dim sum quality overall has good value. Service is doing great, the waitress will chat with you and take away used dishes in a timely manner. Recommend the rice noodle dishes as the rice noodles are soft and fresh. The steamed spare ribs with rice roll dish is the best as it has good portions and combined the spare ribs and rice rolls together. In spare ribs are soft, the rice rolls are even softer. The desserts overall are all good. The mango pudding comes in a fish shape and is double the portions compared to other restaurants. The baked pineapple buns are good and so is the soft malai cake (brown sugar cake). We tried a new dish this time and do not recommend it at all. It's a cold dish of beef shanks. But when the dish came it's half shank and half jellyfish. Worse all, the beef smelled bad and the jellyfish was cooked in ziran spice which is not the Cantonese way at all. Overall this dish tasted really bad.
